Both the Masterplat and the Rotoplat 708 semi-automatic turntable models from Robopac can be supplied in a ‘low profile’ specification allowing you to reclaim space in your busy despatch area. Designed with a lower plate than our standard machines, the surrounding access ramp requires a much shallower slope and so requires a shorter length and less overall floor space. Easily loaded by hand, pump or fork truck, the 270 degree shortened ramp also offers the user all round access from any angle, ensuring that loaded pallets can be easily manoeuvred into place.

The low profile model utilises an ultra-thin turntable plate that's only 30mm or 1.18 inches thick. When incorporated with our 270 degree shortened ramp this machine offers a reduced footprint solution and easy accessibility for loading. The reduced thickness of the turntable also prevents accidental collisions between the machine and the forks of any loading truck.

The multiple configurations of the ramp that are available offer total flexibility. Choose from a fully encircled collar-style ramp offering easy access from any direction, or arrange single plates at desired positions around the turntable to suit your exact needs.

Recyclable stretch film

To get the most from your low profile stretch wrapping machine, we recommend pairing it with one of our high-performance stretch films. Our range includes pre-stretched films that are thinner and lighter than traditional pallet wrap material yet guarantee the same level of pallet coverage and product security. We can also offer hard-wearing extreme stretch films with excellent puncture resistance, breathable films and multi-purpose films suited to a variety of applications. The entire collection of pallet wrapping materials is fully recyclable (LDPE 04) and can be supplied with recycled content if required.

The 508 and 708 low profile machines come with an intuitive 7” touch screen HMI whilst the low profile version of the Masterplat comes with the standard control panel and screen. All are simple and easy to navigate and offer the ability to save pre-set wrapping cycles.

Our semi-automatic models can be supplied with R-Connect technology, offering a number of invaluable capabilities. Using this industry 4.0 software, you can monitor your machine's entire performance right from the cloud. This advanced system supplies rich data about your wrapper’s productivity, including the number of pallets wrapped, stoppages, pallets achieved per roll of film and general machine operations. At any time you can access this detailed information at your fingertips. R-Connect also suggests any potential improvements to achieve enhanced performance. Using the detailed analysis available, YPS can look to lower your stretch film micron, heighten stretch capacity or reduce the number wraps; all of which also reduces long-term running costs. Fiinally, R-Connect integration delivers remote assistance from our engineers. This means that we can provide improved maintenance, support and troubleshooting. truly significant when you consider that 90% of issues can often be fixed remotely - preventing unnecessary downtime in your production schedule.

Film carriage

All low profile semi automatic pallet wrappers are fitted with a power pre-stretch film carriage. This boasts a quick loading system for easy film threading and variable ‘lay on force’. The stretch capacity is dependent on the exact model; the Masterplat low profile boasts 250% stretch capacity, whilst the low profile 508 model achieves 300% stretch capacity and the 708 as much as 400% stretch capacity.
